Back at the gym, lifting weights…

Tuesday, May 28th, I was finally able to lift weights without the pain in the back being so overwhelming. Nearly 2 1/2 months after being rear ended on the highway, I’m finally able to lift weights again, even if it is lighter weights than I’d prefer, it is still something. All of that is thanks to being challenged by @PaulMinor4real to utilize my #DDPYoga.

After using the #DDPYoga every day for a week, the flexibility has increased, the mobility (even in the back) has increased. It has been a game changer.

I sincerely cannot thank @PaulMinor4real enough for that challenge being issued. I was able to enjoy my cardio more than usual today as I knew I’d be able to lift weights!!! I enjoyed doing chest exercises and my core exercises for the day!

If you put in the work, the results will speak for themselves. Even with the back injury from the accident, I didn’t use that as an excuse to not go to the gym. I still went every day, even if “just” for the cardio. I was still there.
